(WorldatWork Journal, 3rd Quarter 2005) High labor costs create real competitive challenges, so it is not surprising that senior executives in most organizations believe the fiscal management of compensation programs is important. However, few research studies have examined fiscal-compensation management practices and the effectiveness of these practices.
